Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Initiation:

  2. Team Leadership and Management:

  3. Project Execution and Monitoring:

    • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring compliance with project change management processes.
  4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

    • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
  5. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:

    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Monitor project expenses and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
    • Negotiate with vendors and third-party providers to secure favorable terms and contracts.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
    • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within the software industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
