Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, and workforce management.
- Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing and process improvements.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources, equipment, and personnel.
- Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Manage budgets for manufacturing operations, including cost analysis and reduction strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all manufacturing operations meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Implement robust quality control measures and corrective action plans.
- Team Development and Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to align manufacturing with business objectives.
- Support new product development and production ramp-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
