Job Title: Food Technologist

Job Summary:

The Food Technologist is responsible for developing and improving food products and processes. This role involves conducting research, creating product formulations, ensuring quality control, and complying with food safety regulations.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop new food products and improve existing ones based on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Conduct research on raw materials and ingredients to enhance product quality.
  • Create and test new product formulations in the lab.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Analyze and interpret data from product tests and experiments.
  • Maintain accurate records of research, formulations, and production processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in food technology and industry trends.

Requirements Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food product development or a related area (preferred from spices industry)
  • Have an experience to develop and manage in-house food lab.
  • Hands-on experience with Punjab Food/PSQCA for company product certifications and their relevant compliances.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in food formulation and processing techniques.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.Quality Control:
