About the job Academic Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate academic schedules, timetables, and faculty assignments.
- Monitor curriculum delivery to ensure adherence to institutional standards.
- Assist in the development and revision of course materials and syllabi.
- Liaise with faculty to support teaching methods, assessments, and academic innovation.
- Track student progress and intervene in cases of academic underperformance.
- Organize and manage academic events such as orientation sessions, workshops, and exams.
- Maintain academic records and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
- Provide support for accreditation processes and compliance with educational regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for student academic queries and grievances.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth academic operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in academic coordination or educational administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic management software (e.g., SIS, LMS).
- Familiarity with educational policies, curriculum development, and accreditation standards.
