Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with community members to identify issues and mobilize support for local initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local leaders, organizations, and residents.
- Organize community meetings, events, and workshops to encourage participation and awareness.
- Develop strategies for community outreach, education, and advocacy.
- Support community-led projects by providing resources, training, and logistical assistance.
- Conduct research and analysis on community issues to inform campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to design and execute community action plans.
- Track and report on community engagement activities and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Political Science, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in community organizing, advocacy, or grassroots movements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and community engagement tools.
