About the job ABA Therapist
Key Responsibilities:

Implement evidence-based interventions based on ABA principles as directed by a BCBA.

Collect and record accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions.

Assist in the development and updating of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Foster a positive learning environment to promote client engagement and learning.

Teach and reinforce communication, social, and functional life skills.
-
Conduct therapy sessions in various environments, including home, school, and community settings.
-
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Participate in regular team meetings, training, and supervision sessions.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).

RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities is an asset.

Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (if sessions are conducted in multiple locations).
