We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to provide high-level pre-hospital medical care and emergency services. Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced pre-hospital assessment, diagnosis, and medical interventions, including airway management, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and drug administration.

Respond to emergency calls and provide life-saving care in high-pressure situations.

Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment (e.g., defibrillators, ventilators, infusion pumps).

Collaborate with Basic Care Paramedics (PCP), emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers during patient transfers and handovers.

Safely transport patients to appropriate healthcare facilities while maintaining high standards of care.

Document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately in accordance with EMS protocols and regulations.

Adhere to all local, regional, and provincial medical directives and safety protocols.

Maintain and inspect emergency vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies to ensure operational readiness.

Provide mentorship or preceptorship to paramedic students or junior team members if applicable.

Participate in ongoing education, certification renewals, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
-
Diploma in Advanced Care Paramedicine from an accredited program.
-
Certified and licensed as an ACP with [Name of Licensing Body/Province].

Current BLS, ACLS, and ITLS certifications (PALS and/or NRP preferred).

Valid Class [F/4 or equivalent] drivers license with a clean driving record.
Experience:

13 years of experience in EMS or pre-hospital care preferred (new ACP graduates may be considered).

Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking under pressure.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform under challenging environmental conditions.

Proficiency in using electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) systems.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience in rural, remote, or air ambulance services is an asset.

Knowledge of provincial healthcare systems, triage protocols, and trauma care standards.

Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
