Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review loan documentation for commercial, consumer, or mortgage loans in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all documents prior to loan closing.

Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, attorneys, and title companies to gather necessary documentation.

Enter and update loan information in the loan management or origination system.

Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing items in loan packages.

Monitor loan documentation status to ensure timely closings and funding.

Maintain organized loan files and ensure proper document storage and retrieval.

Assist with post-closing audits and documentation corrections.

Keep up to date with changes in loan regulations, policies, and documentation requirements.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred).

13 years of experience in loan documentation, loan processing, or banking operations.

Strong knowledge of lending documentation practices, loan types, and regulatory requirements (e.g., TRID, RESPA, HMDA).

Familiarity with loan origination software and document management systems.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in commercial or mortgage loan documentation.

Working knowledge of systems like LaserPro, Encompass, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of legal terminology and loan documentation standards.
