We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic emergency care team. The PA will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care under the supervision of a licensed emergency medicine physician. The ideal candidate is experienced, confident in clinical decision-making, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Perform medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, intubation, wound care, and fracture reduction as required.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with emergency physicians.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and treatment options.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, injury prevention, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency department case reviews.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred.
