Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management policies, standards, and procedures.

Identify and manage configuration items (CIs) across hardware, software, documentation, and network components.

Ensure accurate documentation of system configurations, builds, baselines, and releases.

Maintain and control Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and associated records.

Support change control by evaluating the impact of changes on configuration items.

Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure consistent environments across stages.

Conduct configuration audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.

Provide regular reports and metrics on configuration status, discrepancies, and improvement areas.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in configuration management or IT asset management.

Strong knowledge of CMDBs, version control, and release management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Git, SCCM, Ansible).

Experience with ITIL or ISO configuration management processes.

Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL Foundation or Configuration Management certification (e.g., CMII, CMPIC) is a plus.

Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or ITSM environments.

Familiarity with automated configuration tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
