Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their financial goals and provide tailored advice on banking products and services.

  • Promote and cross-sell retail banking solutions such as savings accounts, term deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment products.

  • Identify and refer complex financial needs to appropriate specialists (e.g., mortgage, investment, or business banking teams).

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and regulatory changes.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and concerns efficiently and professionally.

  • Meet individual and branch-level sales targets while maintaining high standards of compliance and ethics.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure KYC/AML compliance.

  • Participate in local marketing, outreach programs, and financial literacy initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in banking, financial advisory, or sales roles.

  • Strong understanding of banking products and services.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills.

  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and digital banking tools.

  • High attention to detail and knowledge of compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as IRDA, AMFI, NISM, or CFP are advantageous.

  • Bilingual abilities (if applicable to region) and experience with digital banking platforms.
