Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Life Insurance Manager to lead and oversee our life insurance operations, sales, and client services. The role involves managing sales teams, developing strategies to increase policy sales, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in life insurance sales and management, excellent leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of life insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve life insurance sales targets.

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of life insurance agents/advisors.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Educate clients on life insurance products, policies, and financial planning benefits.

  • Oversee policy underwriting, claims handling, and policy renewals.

  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure achievement of KPIs.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products and services.

  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on performance, sales, and operations.

  • Stay updated on trends, competitors, and best practices in the life insurance sector.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in life insurance sales/management with proven leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of life insurance policies, underwriting, and claims processes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team effectively.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/insurance management systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in Insurance or Financial Planning (e.g., LOMA, CLU, FLMI).

  • Experience in bancassurance, agency management, or corporate insurance sales.

  • Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.

  • Ability to design sales strategies for high-value clients.
