About the job Test Architect

Role scope

Provide technical testing direction, testing innovation in test process and creation, including implementation of automation framework and rolling out testing tools. Contribute to the overall QA function including validation and verification strategy, knowledge creating and transition, and other necessary tasks as directed by the QA Lead.

Key deliverables:

  1. Design and implement testing tools, integrated with the current toolset.
  2. Create e2e test scenarios based on stories that have been created so far, and based on architecture and solution design artifacts
  3. Prepare dry-run SIT plan with list of interfaces in scope, agreed priorities, and test-readiness status of each interface

Technical skills

Required: Essential skills in order to be successful in the role

  • Strong knowledge of software testing approaches and Quality Assurance & Control methodologies
  • Strong hand-on experience of CI/CD process and tools and automation across SDLC
  • Hands-on experience in implementing tools such as Xray, JIRA, Confluence, Selenium etc.
  • Strong understanding of test-driven software development techniques and frameworks
  • Able to drive team collaboration and to lead and manage multiple teams
  • Possesses project and process design knowledge necessary for the mitigation and development of solutions aimed at enduring various Quality Assurance aspects.
  • Able to adapt to change, effectively manage and communicate change to people while driving business targets
  • Possesses a strong orientation towards communicating for impact in a timely manner, demonstrating foresight, forethought, planning for operational efficiency as well as effectively managing and identifying potential risks to the business
  • Excellent analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills
  • Very good technical knowledge of the telecom IT environment
  • Able to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
  • Proven track record with Governance and Financial Management
  • Proven ability to lead large transformation projects
  • Able to show assertiveness and influence decisions based on factual information

Qualifications – Required education, minimum work years experience or language requirements to be successful in the role

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a Technical/Managerial role in Testing
  • Relevant experience with digital and business transformation
  • Strong people management, leadership and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with technology design and implementation
