Location: Upcoming project site, approximately 30 minutes north of Edmonton, AB
Company: Infracon Construction Inc.
Project Duration: September December 2025 (anticipated)
Shift Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off (subject to change by project leadership)

About the Project:
Infracon Construction is preparing to deliver a large-scale earthworks and infrastructure project north of Edmonton. The scope includes pond construction, desludging and dewatering, HDPE liner and piping installation, road upgrades, and site works. We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious equipment operators to join our project team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Rock Truck Operators to support earthmoving and hauling activities on this project. The successful candidates will safely operate heavy haul trucks to move materials such as clay, topsoil, and aggregates within the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate articulated and/or rigid-frame rock trucks in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
  • Haul, load, and dump materials to designated areas in coordination with site supervisors and other operators
  • Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, completing logbooks and checklists as required
  • Report any mechanical or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team
  • Maintain awareness of ground conditions, traffic flow, and dump site stability while hauling and dumping loads
  • Follow flagging, signage, and radio communication protocols to ensure safe site operations
  • Work collaboratively with dozer, excavator, and grader operators to support efficient material placement and minimize rework
  • Adhere to all company and client safety procedures, including the use of required PPE and participation in toolbox meetings
  • Assist with general site duties when equipment is not in use (as required)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a rock truck (articulated or rigid-frame) in a construction or earthworks setting
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers licence (or higher) with a clean abstract
  • CSTS-2020, WHMIS, and Ground Disturbance certifications are considered assets (training can be provided if needed)
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to operate equipment in changing site conditions
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in variable weather and terrain
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
