Project Manager Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

In our Agile product development environment, the Technical Project Manager is a critical member of the team that will partner with the strategic and technical product managers, and the development team, to ensure the strategic asset is successfully delivered to our clients. The Technical Project Manager will manage a portfolio of assets and will have the following responsibilities for their assigned assets:

• Coordinate development and delivery schedules for complex business applications, in partnership with strategic and technical product managers and technical leads.

• Work with strategic and technical product managers to coordinate essential work and convergence dates.

• Work with distributed teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines and communicate regularly with teams on status, risks and change control.

• Communicate key developments, updates, and problems to management and other teams.

• Grasp complex technical topics and abstract important risks into an applicable plan.

Shape processes for efficiency and scale in the software engineering organization.

The key skills required are as follows:

• Project Management and Agile Certification

• Degree in Engineering, or Business Information Technology, Industrial

  Engineering with previous engineering/software development backgroun

• Experience with HRIS system implementation projects.
• Extended experience in agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with one or more traditional Project Management systems

• Familiarity with managing Agile projects using JIRA

• Familiarity with Capacity Planning tools

• Experience managing projects across teams, building sustainable processes,

  and coordinating release schedules

• Excellent project management and organizational skills must be able to multi-

  task and juggle multiple priorities

• The ability to understand and deal well with rapid development cycles and to

  remain flexible in the face of uncertainty.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and

  accepting continuous feedback and support.

• Experience in transformation process/projects

• Understanding of Business Fundamentals (can read financial files, HR,

  strategy proposals, and self-governance with minimal supervision)

• Reporting and analytics are a big plus
