Work Youll Do

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of an AMS project including, System enhancements, Support and Maintenance, in adherence to Service Level Agreements

  • Work on Incident Management activities like Incidence logging, Triage, Tracking and Resolution on severity basis, and Problem Management activities of Root Cause Analysis and Error Handling.

  • Participate in requirement gathering for identified changes (small and medium enhancements) based on Request for Change documents, and translate business needs into technical/functional design specifications

  • Work with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow for Level based (L1, 2 or 3) support

  • Maintain and monitor data conversion assigned activities during all phases of project

  • Research, document, configure and test all functional elements involving rules and policies

  • Collaborate with the technical consultant and other project team members to ensure

    configuration of the functional specifications have been met additional requirements

  • Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders in a virtual environment to support

    project delivery

  • Support deployment activities including involvement in local design workshops, and hyper care

    related activities

  • Manage integration of WFM system with other systems like HR, payroll etc.

  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Workforce Management concepts, Infor WFM,

    Java/J2EE, ITSM tools, RACI Matrix, RAID Log and ITIL practices.

Additional Support responsibilities:

  • Perform configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance and user acceptance testing activities for large-scale timekeeping and workforce application

  • Act as technical liaison and subject matter expert with internal client organizations and peer technology partners on timekeeping and workforce application

  • Perform troubleshooting activities using hyper-find queries, genies and reports. Also Monitor the Transaction Assistant daily and resolves any issues

  • Support testing activities through the test environment including maintaining a DEV environment representative of production, through frequent updates of production data

  • Create and update detailed functional and technical design documents, plans testing strategies and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary

  • Conduct production support, software upgrades, and regular audits, to ensure compliance

  • Maintain security related configuration, new labor level entries, employee groups and labor level sets. Act as liaison for application upgrades and coordinate communications and training

    The key skills required are as follows:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Masters in human resource management is desirable

  • 2 to 6 years application support experience in technical aspects of Infor including:

    • Infor WFM Data Structure, Integrations

    • Understanding of Infor WFM configuration

    • Device management (clocks, web, handheld etc.)

    • SQL based reporting tools

    • Basic understanding of J2SE/J2EE/Java Scripts

    • Cognos report tool (desirable)

  • Extensive application support experience on Infor WFM, including corrective maintenance and bug fixing around Timesheet Data, Pay Calculations, Person and Functionality access, Wage Adjustments in the following modules:

    • Infor WFM Time & Attendance: Timesheet Configuration, Pay rules, employee/user set up, security profiles, basic building blocks like calculation group, pay groups etc.

    • Infor WFM Accruals: Policy, Entitlements, assignments

    • Infor WFM Job Scheduling

    • Infor WFM Scheduling & Advanced Scheduling: Shift Patterns, MVS, LFSO

    • Infor WFM Integration: Employee Import, Payroll Export, Time Imports etc.

    • Cognos Report studio, Query Studio

  • 2-6 years experience as a functional consultant with any other Time & Attendance management system will be considered
  • Ability to configure timekeeping module with complex pay rules and policies, attendance management configuration, in and out knowledge in basic scheduling is required.

  • Knowledge in implementation of mobility, ETM or other mobile features is required.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in configuration errors, database errors, job failures, extensions

    and interfaces is required.

  • Experience in latest version of Infor WFM - 6.2.4 (and onwards) is an advantage.

  • Experience with Infor WFM Cloud is an advantage.

  • Technical experience in understanding extensions and customizations along with complex

    integrations is added advantage.

  • Experience in working with Java /JavaScript /JSP and SQL in Infor WFM

    extensions/integrations is an added advantage

  • Infor WFM certified consultants will be preferred.

  • Experience in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow

  • ITIL V3 Fundamental Certification is preferable

  • Strong analytical/problem-solving ability

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work pressure

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio
