Our Client a bold and ambitious business in the iGaming and Sports Betting industry, with operations across Malta and Nigeria, is looking for an exceptional CEO of Nigeria to take the lead in one of Africas most dynamic and fast-moving markets.

Based in Gzira, Malta, this role offers end-to-end oversight of the Nigerian business and will serve as the critical bridge between stakeholders, partners, and teams across both Malta and Nigeria.

What Youll Be Doing:

Lead the Vision

  • Set the strategic direction of the business and turn ambition into action
  • Drive the next phase of expansion with a clear, commercially focused roadmap
  • Lead and develop a high-performing senior team capable of delivering results in a fast-moving environment
  • Translate shareholder expectations into smart, executable plans that create measurable impact

Own Key Partnerships

  • Take full control of relationships with platform providers, suppliers, and third-party partners
  • Oversee commercial negotiations, SLAs, service delivery, and ongoing partner performance
  • Ensure the platform is optimised for the Nigerian market, with the right localisation, stability, and roadmap support
  • Work closely with product, technical, and operational partners to keep the business competitive and agile

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Take ownership of revenue, profitability, and market share growth in Nigeria
  • Lead commercial strategy across marketing, CRM, acquisition, retention, and promotional activity
  • Spot new growth opportunities, unlock strategic partnerships, and expand market reach
  • Keep the business moving at pace in response to player behaviour, market trends, and competitive pressure

Protect and Strengthen the Operation

  • Ensure the business operates in full accordance with Nigerian gaming regulations and industry best practice
  • Oversee AML, KYC, responsible gaming, and broader risk management frameworks
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders to maintain a strong and resilient operating model
  • Manage key payment provider relationships and ensure operational continuity across the business

Take Control of Performance

  • Own the P&L with full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and business performance
  • Build and track the KPIs that matter across commercial, operational, and compliance functions
  • Provide clear, confident reporting to the Board and shareholders
  • Ensure robust governance, reporting discipline, and strong internal controls are embedded across the business

Be the Face of the Business

  • Act as the senior representative of the company with regulators, partners, investors, and key external stakeholders
  • Represent the business at strategic meetings and within the wider industry
  • Play a leading role in building credibility, reputation, and long-term influence in the iGaming and sports betting space

What Were Looking For

(Experience)

  • Senior leadership experience within iGaming, sports betting, online betting, or regulated digital gaming
  • A strong track record of leading commercially driven businesses and delivering tangible growth
  • Proven experience working with white-label platforms and third-party suppliers
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian iGaming and sports betting market, including its regulatory and operational landscape
