We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler and Architect to join our team, dedicated to optimizing the data architecture for our esteemed pharmaceutical client. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and interpret existing data structures to ensure optimal performance and alignment with industry standards in the clinical/healthcare domain.
  • Design and implement robust data models that support the integration and functionality of various applications and analytics platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using ETL processes tailored for AWS and Databricks environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data architecture solutions that meet the strategic needs of the business.
  • Implement and manage SQL modeling techniques to enhance data retrieval and analysis.
  • Leverage knowledge of visualization tools to aid in data interpretation and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in database management and data integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Modeler, specifically within the clinical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services and Databricks.
  • Expertise in ETL processes and SQL database modeling.
  • Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex data sets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
