Senior Operations Executive, Vessel Operations (Container)

We are looking for a proactive Senior Operations Executive (Global Vessel Ops) for one of our global shipping clients. This person will oversee port-side efficiency, stowage planning, and berth arrangements across the regional network. The role is responsible for shortening vessel port stays, optimizing cargo stowage, and maintaining seamless coordination with terminals and local teams to ensure schedule reliability. The position will also support digital transformation and cost-saving initiatives related to bunker usage. The ideal candidate should have at least 2–5 years of relevant shipping operations experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a data-driven mindset.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in shipping or vessel operations
• Hands-on experience in vessel operations or stowage planning within the container shipping industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Effective time management skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Team player with adaptability and a collaborative approach to work
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications and familiarity with AI tools
