We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Operations Superintendent for a leading global shipowner to oversee day-to-day marine commercial operations for their LPG carriers. This role supports safe, efficient, and compliant voyage execution while working closely with Masters, chartering teams, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily voyage and cargo operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of the company's fleet of LPG carriers.
  • Provide operational guidance to Masters on navigation, cargo handling, tank cleaning, stowage, and port/terminal requirements.
  • Monitor vessel performance, speed/consumption, heating requirements, and charter party compliance.
  • Coordinate port and terminal operations, including operational briefings, port research, and agent management.
  • Review load/discharge plans, support voyage planning, and ensure readiness for nominated cargoes.
  • Participate in inspections, audits, operational reviews, and incident investigations.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, agents, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth voyage progress and customer satisfaction.


Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with LPG commercial operations
  • COC Class 1 Master Mariner with command experience, or Chief Officer with strong LPG tanker sailing background, or relevant shore-based experience as an Operations Superintendent.
  • Strong understanding of LPG/LNG carrier operations, charter party terms and port/terminal regulations.
  • Excellent operational judgment, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple voyages simultaneously.
