Mobile Platform Development Lead

 Job Description:

Our Client, a leading European multi-platform communications company, is seeking a Mobile Platform Development Lead.

This Lead role sits within the wider Technology Solutions organization and involves managing technical components, collaborating closely with various technical teams and business stakeholders. The role encompasses overseeing technical product roadmaps, supporting solutions management, technology architecture, and the full lifecycle of components within IT programs. Emphasis is placed on building and maintaining high-quality technical components while ensuring adherence to defined KPIs by 3rd party development and support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical components and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee technical product roadmaps and support solutions management, technology architecture, and operations.
  • Ensure the quality of technical components and adherence to defined KPIs by 3rd party teams.
  • Support solution requirement analysis and participate in refining technical products.
  • Allocate resources and participate in technology delivery planning and execution.
  • Assist in component release planning and operational readiness.
  • Support different integration models, e.g., roaming integration for data, SMS, and VoLTE.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in CSS/BSS/OSS in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software, hardware, and networks.
  • Preferred experience in technical lead roles and exposure to various delivery models.
  • Strong analysis skills and experience in software delivery and integration.
  • Ability to build, communicate, and manage technical roadmaps and schedules.
  • Familiarity with application protocols, OTT, and knowledge of NB-IOT, O-RAN, and 5G is a plus.
