Internal Auditor

We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading global professional services firm. They are currently on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join their Financial Services Internal Audit (IA) team.

Role Highlights:

• Oversee internal audit or control assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of financial services clients.
• Evaluate control deficiencies and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality workpapers through adherence to audit methodology.
• Prepare and review planning and reporting deliverables for partner review.
• Present engagement results to clients' Senior Management and partners.
• Contribute to team development by providing coaching, mentoring, and effective leadership.
• Lead initiatives within the internal department, including training and business development.

Requirements:

• Solid, proven Internal Audit experience post-qualification.
• In-depth experience in the Irish market.
• Professional Services or In-House IA background.
• Relevant degree in the field.
• ACA, ACCA, CIIA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Business acumen to serve as an effective business advisor.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Familiarity with financial services industry concepts.
