On behalf of our client we are seeking: 

Project Manager - 12 month contract

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Project Manager in the cross functional Programme Management Office taking responsibility for e2e delivery of cross-functional projects delivering product, commercial, technology projects within the business, reporting directly to the Programme Office Director.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

Direct and manage project development and delivery from beginning to end.

Work with business owners to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.

Develop full-scale project plans and associated documents.

Effectively communicate project expectations, progress reports, status updates and RAID logs to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members, stakeholders, business owners, sponsors and senior management.

Identify and manage project dependencies, risk, issues, decisions and clearly track and communicate implications on the critical path.

Track project milestones, deliverables, and finances, working with business owners to ensure adherence to/ reporting of projects costs Vs business case and eventual post deployment reviews

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans where appropriate

Conduct project lessons learned and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Work with the PMO team to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Skills & Expertise:

Bachelors degree in business or technology field

A Minimum of 5 -7 years post graduate experience in managing and delivering projects with experience in telecommunications and delivering commercial projects

PMI, PMP or Diploma in Project Management a prerequisite

Excellent analytical and co-ordination skills, a completer finisher taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment which requires robust metrics to confirm success
