With the company's global headquarters and engineering department situated in continental Europe, the local offices manage their operations in the UK and Ireland from Co. Wexford. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, overseeing, and leading construction projects from inception to completion. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will span both on-site activities and project management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and providing support to a team of on-site operatives on a daily basis.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards within the organization.
- Overseeing the timely and high-quality execution of project works.
- Generating various inspection and quality reports.
- Regularly communicating with contractors to provide updates on project progress.
- Professional interaction with the main contractor, including the completion of on-site work and documentation for handover.
- Timely submission of weekly day works sheets to the office.
- Participation in weekly update meetings with senior management.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure and taking the initiative.
