About the Role:
This Senior Business Development Manager role sits within the Business division, supporting growth across public sector and direct B2B markets. This is a senior commercial position focused on identifying, securing, and developing new business opportunities while deepening relationships with key enterprise customers.
The successful candidate will bring strong telecoms or technology sales experience, a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, and the commercial understanding to design tailored connectivity and communications solutions. This role includes both virtual and in person customer engagement.
Specific Duties and Tasks:
Business Development and Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue across public sector and direct business markets.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, and partner engagement.
Manage complex, multi product sales cycles including broadband, dedicated internet, cloud, voice, mobile, and security solutions.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs and revenue targets.
Attend networking events and represent our client positively.
Strategic Account Management
Work with enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and design tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, including pre sales, finance, service operations, and marketing.
Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
Build long term strategic relationships across multiple sectors.
Performance, Reporting and Process
Produce accurate forecasts and updates on sales pipeline, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Follow internal sales processes and uphold brand values throughout all interactions.
Support the development of case studies, content, and other commercial materials as needed.
Continue self learning to stay informed on industry developments and new product offerings.
Skills and Expertise:
Minimum seven years experience in B2B telecoms or technology sales across direct, wholesale, or channel markets.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a complex, multi product environment.
Strong technical understanding of connectivity, cloud, and communication solutions.
Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Full drivers licence required.
