[Nhơn Trạch] Production Shift Leaders

JOB PURPOSE

Manage all shift production activities regarding cement grinding and packing system of Grinding Station to ensure that all workforces follow work procedures to achieve production volume and meet product dispatch as well as logistic activities without compromising safety regulations and environment policies and Vietnamese legislation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Production activities control Control CCR operation to ensure strictly follow up operational instructions, troubleshooting procedures as well as equipment operation at optimum federate

• Utilize resources effectively to maximize dispatch capacity and meet customers demand as well
• Control onsite activities and support resources timely to ensure daily production and maintenance activities completed
• Coordinate with Non shift production personnel to complete daily/weekly assigned tasks
• Execute troubleshoot equipment breakdowns effectively in order to bring the plant back to operation soonest
• Analyze root causes of problem which happening in duty shift relating to quality, feed rate, energy consumption or any failures to improve operation
• Ensure inspection checklist to be done as required
  

2. Products quality control Closely control quality of Cement in shift and take action properly

• Make sure CCR operators to follow up strictly operation instructions and troubleshooting procedures to achieve quality parameters as set by QA
• Coordinate with maintenance to calibrate measurement equipment and monitoring devices properly and on regular basis
• Follow up testing of new additives
• Monitor and control testing results in shift to correct operation parameters properly

3. Coordination and communication across functional departments Report to management level if serious equipment problems and/or emergency cases

• Consolidate and report daily plant activities in shift handover meeting and record in the log book
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain department to ensure effectively logistical activities of raw materials and products
• Act as plant manager to control all plant activities in non admin period
• Report daily plant operation
• Control shutdown progress and work quality in Plant shutdown
• Follow up shutdown AAR

4. People management and development Develop group KPIs and control implementation

• Follow up multi skills training program
• Coach and transfer professional knowledge and experience to the team
• Act as plant Manager out of office hours

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Chemistry or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Capability to communicate fluently in English (TOEIC 500 or equivalent)
• Computer skills: MS offices
• Knowledge in SAP
  

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years working in cement industry or heavy industry
• At least 2 years working at supervisory position in production
