I. JOB PURPOSES:

Perform extensive quantitative analysis together with qualitative information to provide useful insights, recommendations, and proposals on driving growth, in terms of sales volume, net sales and market share.

II. MAIN DUTIES:

1. Contribute to marketing & sales tactical plan to maximize competitive advantage

  • Identify the effective segments, customers needs and market situation; then analyze and help formulate competitive marketing and sales plan toward Department results
  • Analysis at province and micro-market level to be done as scheduled; and action plan to be followed up accordingly

2. Monitor actual results compared to expected result & recommend action plans to deal with current market situation

  • Identify the discrepancies, analyze, and make recommendations based on the actual results and trends
  • Daily Sales Report
  • Timely input of data into sales information system
  • Monthly report for responsible region (OD Performance, Price breakdown checking etc.)

3. Market visit & analysis to support for proposal verification

  • Masters high quality market research/ analytics skills
  • Ensures a solid competitive intelligence and customer survey throughout the whole value chain are done to track how we progress on our services
  • Ensures regular follow-up of the commercial strategic objectives to create relevant, accurate, consistent reports and analysis
  • Ensures market in charge are researched as schedule and met the target of market visit
  • Able to bring market information researched into pricing analysis session, able to solve ad-hoc cases, etc
  • Puts in place the right Business Intelligence: relevant, reliable, accurate reporting system
  • Market visit report
  • Proposal analysis
  • Price breakdown analysis

4. Margin optimization strategy

  • Tactical Pricing analysis to be done and action to be discussed and defined carefully to ensure all the advantages are taken to maximize price competitive
  • Return of Investment is highly focused on sales planning step and evaluated after results
  • Be able to provide 2x2 matrix of price and volume development
  • Commercial Margin target is tracked and followed up strictly
  • ROI analysis (return of Investment)
  • 2x2 matrix of Cost investment and volume sold
  • Recommendation and input on proposal

5. Coordinate with other cross-function departments to improve the level of service satisfaction

  • Support and provide analytic to marketing and sales functions by giving recommendations & coordinate between departmental levels

  • All report data analysis (such as Volume/Market share & net sales result) are in accurate & high quality status

  • Quickly adapt to change circumstances, make decisions with limited information

IV. REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree (can be Economics, Marketing, Finance, and/or Business Administration...)
  • Strong business English (4 skills)
  • From at least 3 years of experience for the same scope
  • Knowledgeable in cement industry and professional business conduct will be preferred
  • Good communication & negotiation
  • Confident, good at numbers, analyzing, planning
  • Willing to go to the market

  • 100% salary on probation
  • Working independently
