About the job Logistic Engineer
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Ensure compliance to OH&S policy and regulations by the team and other staffs.
- Fully comply with OHS-PR-12 and SDD-ENV-PR-07.
- Must comply with all company QEOHS policy, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and will be measured against criteria outlined in Dialogue.
2. Update new tech application or Develop new optimized solutions related to Logs Operations equipment
- Define key tasks which need to automate or change in Logistics Operation.
- Review and benchmark operation cost [include maintenance cost] of handling, load in, unload of 5 cement plants between current equipment & new application /improvement.
- Propose new investment [needed] to increase capacity of handling/ load on/ unload of Logistic Operation to adapt Business model and Fin plan.
- Propose improvement to increasing efficiency of load/unload equipment.
3. Cooperate with project team to control project timeline and ensure the adaptivity with practice.
- Reviews all designs related to new equipment/infrastructure investment and propose any adjust to increase adaptiveness.
- Cooperate with Sites Logistics Superintendent/ Logistic Manager to supervise project timeline and installation and alert if anything hasnt been correct as original design.
- Coordinate with Sites Operation Superintendent to:
- Review/draw commissioning scenario for testing installed equipment.
Implement maintenance requirements for both daily inspection [by Log operator] and cycle inspection of maintenance. - Implement check list requirements for preventive maintenance.
- Implement spare parts list need to stock for corrective and predictive maintenance.
4. Supervise and audit the Logistics' maintenance cost & compliance at 5 plants.
- Review and update all daily equipments checklist/ requirement and compliance of Log Administrator.
- Review equipment preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and schedules.
- Review and report all equipments operation identification.
- Analyze and report the maintenance cost of Logistic of 5 Plants and benchmark with Budget.
- Cooperate and guide Plants Logistic team in emergency case.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical Engineer with good experience in heavy industry
- Good English communication skills.
- Should have in depth knowledge health and safety regulations, customer and personal service, administration and management, and risk management.
- Knowledge in cement production and process.
- Project management and AutoCAD capability
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years experiences in managing project/ maintenance team.
- Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
- Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people.
- Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor.
- Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets.
