Key Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Management: Ensure compliance with company H&S and QEHS standards; conduct safety inspections and implement improvement plans at project sites.
• Design & Technical Review: Review and approve mechanical drawings; ensure contractors work with the latest approved drawings; maintain equipment and erection records.
• Planning & Scheduling: Assist Project Manager in preparing overall project plans; evaluate and approve mechanical erection schedules submitted by contractors.
• Progress, Budget & Quality Control: Inspect work in progress, monitor quality and schedule; prepare regular reports on activities impacting project timeline, budget, and scope.
• Contractor Management: Supervise manpower, evaluate contractor performance; suspend activities or personnel violating safety or technical standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5-10 years in mechanical works, preferably in heavy industry or cement plant projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Mechanical design experience.
  • Contract and contractor management.
  • Site management.
• Additional Skills:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel between sites.
  • Ability to commit for the entire contract period.
