Financial Planning & Business Analyst

Main Duties:

JOB PURPOSE

Prepare financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and analysis to help the company make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare effective models, templates, and presentations for budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure budget and forecast submission deadlines are met with quality data.
• Identify variances between actual results and budgeted or previous year's financial results.
• Provide variance analysis of monthly financial and non-financial KPIs and prepare monthly or quarterly presentations for Management.
• Control assigned departments' costs within budget and review or validate department cost-saving capex valuation.
• Respond to inquiries and special reporting requests regarding financial results from the General Director, CFO, and Regional Controller.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the same position within foreign-owned companies.
• Previous reporting and analysis experience in a complex heavy industry, preferably manufacturing.
• Studying or part-qualified in ACA, ACCA, etc., and knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, excellent numeracy, and attention to detail.
• SAP experience regarding data extraction and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of handling complex business transactions, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
