ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking a strategic thinker to lead our Market Intelligence Department. In this pivotal role, you will drive the understanding of market demand, trends, and competitor activities within the dynamic cement industry. You will manage a team to provide actionable insights that support decision-making, optimize rebate spending, and maintain our competitive edge across both B2B and B2C segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Development: Manage the Market Analysis Team by setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and providing coaching to enhance team capabilities and ensure succession planning.

Market & Competitor Intelligence: Lead the collection and analysis of market data, competitor movements, and macroeconomic factors to formulate competitive marketing and sales plans.

Pricing & Investment Efficiency: Monitor price trends and manage the process of tracking pricing discounts and rebates to ensure return on investment (ROI) and optimize spending.

Strategic Reporting: Produce high-quality, accurate reports (including Market Share and demand forecasts) for the Executive Committee (Exco) and other stakeholders to drive commercial objectives.

Process Improvement: Establish and review processes for data collection and price governance to ensure transparency and efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: University degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience:

Strong knowledge of the cement or building materials industry.

- Proven experience in managing teams and collaborating across functions.

Skills:

- Advanced English proficiency, specifically with the ability to present and interact with C-level executives (Exco).

- Mastery of market research methodologies and data analysis.

Work Conditions:

- Willingness to travel (20% - 30% of the time) for market visits and customer interaction.

- Ability to handle ad-hoc tasks on weekends when required
