WE ARE HIRING : Senior Development Merchandiser

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Development Merchandiser to coordinate product development, manage sampling requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments. This role will involve collaborating closely with design, product development, and production teams to meet customer expectations while optimizing costing and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customers on sample requirements and prepare sampling orders for garment technologists.

• Ensure timely procurement of sample raw materials and provide accurate costing and product information to management.

• Upload costing and BOM data into SAP and initiate material creation with precision.

• Create and manage T&A (Time & Action) plans for each development inquiry until bulk PCD (Production Cut Date).

• Collaborate with design and product development teams to cross-develop styles and deliver unique product offerings.

• Ensure production capacity is aligned with PCU team requirements and costing is completed on time.

• Source trims and accessories for samples, submit samples to customers, and follow up on approvals.

• Lead and mentor the merchandising team, providing support to the Assistant Manager Merchandising.

• Perform additional duties aligned with the role as requested by management.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, merchandising, or a related field.

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Marketing, Merchandising, or related discipline (preferred).

• Proficiency in SAP software is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of the apparel industry, including experience liaising with buyers on samples and bulk orders.

• Excellent command of English (spoken and written) with strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively, and operate as a proactive team player.
