Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Data Scientist to develop advanced data-driven solutions, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making. This role focuses on data analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, and transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence within a highly regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data science and analytics initiatives to support business and policy decisions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  
• Design and deploy machine learning, statistical, and econometric models
• Manage data extraction, transformation, mining, and processing activities
  
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports for senior management
• Identify data gaps and recommend innovative solutions and methodologies
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand analytical requirements
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity through validation processes
  
• Support research studies using advanced analytical techniques
• Monitor and troubleshoot data models and analytical solutions
  
• Contribute to building a data-driven culture through training and knowledge sharing

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles
• Candidates should be below 35 years of age

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
  
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data mining, data processing, and big data techniques
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
  
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets
• Knowledge of banking, financial systems, or economic data will be an added advantage
  
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
