Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end facilities operations of a well-established, diversified corporate group based in Colombo.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure efficient facility management, maintenance, safety, and operational continuity across office and operational environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining high workplace standards while supporting overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations Management

• Manage overall facilities operations including office maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, and asset upkeep to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs covering buildings, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure.

• Develop and implement facilities policies, SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Vendor & Cost Management

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/service providers to ensure timely delivery of maintenance and repair services.

• Monitor vendor performance and manage service contracts effectively.

• Manage facilities budgets and operational costs to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulatory requirements.

• Oversee workplace safety standards and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Manage security services, housekeeping, and transport coordination (if applicable).

Projects & Infrastructure Development

• Support office expansions, relocations, and infrastructure setup projects.

• Manage facilities-related projects including renovations, workspace planning, and new site setups.

• Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facilities management, administration, or infrastructure management.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, vendor management, and operational coordination.

• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and service providers effectively.

• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and ensure smooth facilities operations.
