Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Group CFO – Capital Markets & Investor Strategy to lead a high-impact international IPO journey and shape long-term investor positioning for a global manufacturing and supply chain platform.

This is not a traditional accounting-focused CFO role. Instead, it is a capital markets-driven leadership position responsible for IPO execution, investor engagement, financial storytelling, valuation strategy, and Board-level advisory. Established operational finance teams manage day-to-day accounting, enabling this role to focus on transformation and public-company readiness.

Key Responsibilities

IPO & Capital Markets Leadership

• Lead the financial strategy and execution of the Groups IPO.

• Develop and present the financial case including valuation logic, forecasts, and growth assumptions.

• Engage with investment banks, advisors, private equity shareholders, and cornerstone investors.

• Oversee IPO financial modelling, scenario planning, and disclosure preparation.

Investor Stewardship (Pre & Post IPO)

• Act as the primary financial interface with the investment community.

• Lead results positioning, earnings narratives, and analyst engagement.

• Establish and lead a structured investor relations function.

• Build long-term relationships with institutional investors and strategic shareholders.

Financial Narrative & Market Positioning

• Translate operational performance into a compelling, data-backed investment story.

• Clearly articulate value drivers, margin structure, capital efficiency, and growth visibility.

• Align Chairman, CEO, and Board messaging for consistent market positioning.

Strategic Financial Advisory

• Advise Board and Executive leadership on capital structure, funding strategy, capital allocation, and shareholder value creation.

• Provide forward-looking financial insights, valuation sensitivity analysis, and risk visibility.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Senior finance leadership experience with strong capital markets or investor exposure.

• Proven ability to communicate complex financial performance clearly and credibly at Board and investor level.

• Strong analytical capability combined with commercial judgement.

• Demonstrated credibility operating with institutional investors and market stakeholders.

Highly Desirable

• IPO or major capital markets transaction experience.

• Experience working within listed company environments.

• Exposure to global, multi-country business structures.

Professional Qualifications

• CA / CPA (or equivalent professional qualification).

• Masters degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or similar).
