Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager – Academic Operations to provide leadership, governance oversight, and operational direction within a leading academic institution.

This senior-level role is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, institutional performance, and continuous operational improvement. While day-to-day activities may be supported by Assistant Managers, this position holds overall accountability for strategy, compliance, academic quality, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Define and implement academic and operational strategies aligned with institutional goals.

• Oversee annual academic, admissions, and operational planning.

• Ensure a seamless end-to-end admissions process.

• Provide leadership and performance oversight to academic and administrative teams.

• Ensure cross-functional collaboration between Admissions, Marketing, and Academic departments.

Operational Oversight

• Provide high-level operational leadership to ensure efficiency and service quality.

• Resolve escalated operational and academic issues.

• Ensure optimal staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Postgraduate qualification (MBA / MSc) will be an advantage.

• Extensive experience in academic management or education operations.

• Strong understanding of academic compliance, governance, and quality assurance frameworks.

• Experience managing audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and institutional performance.
