Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Senior / Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through effective testing strategies and quality engineering practices. This role involves working closely with development teams, improving testing processes, and driving quality across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and execute test cases with minimal supervision
• Review functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
  
• Develop test artifacts including test plans, strategies, and reports
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior QA team members
  
• Identify, debug, and analyze defects, and log issues effectively
• Collaborate with development teams to identify issues early
  
• Establish and improve quality engineering processes
• Ensure test coverage and maintain quality standards across projects
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of test planning, design, and execution
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium)
  
• Familiarity with QE tools (JIRA, QMetry, HP ALM, Confluence)
• Good understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and coding standards
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
