Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Work Study Executive to conduct time and motion studies, optimize production efficiency, and validate SMV-based costing in apparel manufacturing. This role involves analyzing operator performance, reducing non-productive time, and supporting method improvements for new styles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies for each garment style to establish accurate SMV (Standard Minute Value).
• Identify bottlenecks in production lines and recommend layout or method changes.
• Observe operator performance and calculate line and operator efficiency daily.
• Monitor and reduce non-productive time, rework, and idle operations.
• Validate CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) rates using SMV-based costing.
• Analyze fabric and trim wastage at each process step and propose reduction methods.
• Conduct method improvement studies for new styles before bulk production.
• Submit daily and weekly efficiency reports to the central Work Study Head.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Garment Technology / Industrial Engineering (IE).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in apparel work study.
• Knowledge of time study software (GSD, IE Timer, or manual stopwatch method).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
