Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused Assistant Product Marketing Manager to lead product launch strategies, user engagement initiatives, customer education, retention programs, and cross-functional marketing activities within a fast-paced mobility technology environment.
The selected candidate will work closely with Product, Business Intelligence, Lifecycle, Operations, Sales, Performance Marketing, and senior leadership teams to improve user satisfaction, strengthen customer lifetime value, and ensure product communications are clear, impactful, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product marketing strategies for product launches, feature rollouts, user education, user engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products, services, features, and platform updates.
- Partner closely with Product, Business Intelligence, Lifecycle, Operations, Sales, and Performance Marketing teams.
- Ensure product communications, user policies, and engagement initiatives are data-driven, clear, and optimized for user satisfaction.
- Develop messaging, positioning, user communication plans, and campaign toolkits for core user segments.
- Support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and product adoption through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Use research insights, customer feedback, user behaviour, and business data to shape product marketing decisions.
- Work with research teams to build a strong learning agenda that informs product roadmaps and engagement programs.
- Translate user insights into practical recommendations for product improvements and marketing strategies.
- Align goals across marketing, operations, lifecycle, and performance marketing teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities around key customer segments and business priorities.
- Influence product and business roadmaps to improve user satisfaction and lifetime value.
- Work closely with senior product and operations leaders to strengthen platform experience and customer retention.
- Guide tactical marketing efforts and ensure campaigns are scalable across different business domains.
- Develop marketing toolkits, communication templates, launch materials, and user education content.
- Monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics, user retention, and customer response.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, product adoption, and user communications.
- Support stakeholder alignment and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time.
- Lead or support project-based teams to execute campaigns and product marketing initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of execution, collaboration, integrity, and accountability.
- Perform any other product marketing, customer engagement, or growth-related duties assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Professional or academic qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field at graduate or postgraduate level.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering successful engagement, growth, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or customer-retention strategies.
- Experience in mobility technology, digital platforms, consumer technology, e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, or app-based businesses will be an advantage.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Operations, Sales, Business Intelligence, Lifecycle, Performance Marketing, and P&L owners.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Prior experience in people management or leading project-based teams will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of product launches, user education, customer engagement, retention, and growth marketing.
- Ability to use data, research, and customer insights to guide marketing decisions.
- Strong planning and execution skills with the ability to work ahead of deadlines.
- Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, actionable delivery plans.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills.
- Proactive learner with an ownership mindset and high level of integrity.
- Results-oriented with a strong bias for action.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to execute while leading strategic initiatives.
