Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst / Assistant Manager to support strategic financial analysis, policy planning, market research, and financial modelling within a large-scale real estate development environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting macro-financial and sectoral analysis, developing financial models, evaluating investment and policy impacts, monitoring global market trends, and preparing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical capability, financial modelling skills, and exposure to infrastructure, urban development, or financial centre-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Analysis

• Conduct macro-financial and sectoral analysis covering banking and financial services, capital markets, fintech, professional services, logistics, and real estate.
• Assess the economic and fiscal impact of proposed policies, incentives, and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop financial models including DCF, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Evaluate development initiatives, anchor investments, and sector-specific strategies.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and management decision-making.

Policy & Planning Support

• Support the design and evaluation of incentive structures, tax frameworks, and offshore financial models.
• Analyze global financial centre benchmarks to identify best practices applicable to real estate and financial hub development.
• Assist in preparing policy-related analysis, planning documents, and strategic recommendations.
• Support internal teams with data-driven insights for investment planning and project positioning.

Data, Research & Market Insights

• Track and analyze key macroeconomic indicators.
• Monitor global financial market trends and assess their impact on investor appetite and project positioning.
• Build and maintain internal databases and dashboards for strategic monitoring and reporting.
• Conduct research on industry trends, market opportunities, and investment-related developments.
• Prepare clear reports, presentations, and analysis summaries for management review.

Stakeholder & Reporting Support

• Work closely with internal teams to provide financial, economic, and sector-related insights.
• Support preparation of management reports, dashboards, and strategic briefing documents.
• Assist in presenting findings in a clear and business-friendly manner.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial and market-related data.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, economic research, consulting, or a related field.
• Qualification such as CFA Level I/II, MBA, or postgraduate qualification in Economics or Finance will be preferred.
• Experience working on large infrastructure, urban development, real estate, or financial centre projects will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to public sector, multilateral institutions, or international consulting firms will be preferred.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including DCF, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong analytical, research, and data interpretation skills.
• Good understanding of macroeconomic indicators, capital markets, and investment-related analysis.
• Ability to prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for management decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
