Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding to drive business growth and deliver excellent customer service within the logistics and freight forwarding sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and achieving sales targets through proactive sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and sales activities.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Create and execute sales plans to achieve monthly sales targets and business objectives.

  • Follow up on client referrals and leads to maximize conversion opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to support retention, upselling, and long-term partnerships.

  • Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

Educational / Professional Qualifications

  • Part qualification in CIM, SLIM, or other relevant marketing or sales qualifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills / Other Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with strong command of English.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a target-driven environment.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.

  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
