Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant General Manager – Sales & Marketing to provide strategic leadership and drive business growth within a leading freight forwarding and logistics organization.

This role requires a commercially focused professional with strong industry experience who can lead high-performing teams, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and enhance operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

• Provide strategic leadership to drive business growth and market expansion.

• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen market positioning.

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Operational Excellence

• Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining sales and marketing processes.

• Align cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and performance targets.

Team Development

• Lead, motivate, and develop sales and marketing teams to achieve high performance.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage and strengthen key stakeholder and business partner relationships.

• Represent the organization in industry engagements and strategic discussions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional qualifications from a recognized institute will be an advantage.

• Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in a similar capacity within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

• Strong leadership and commercial acumen.

• Proven experience in sales growth and market expansion strategies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
