Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior IFS ERP Consultant – Finance to support finance-based ERP implementations, business process improvements, system configuration, and client advisory activities within a software and enterprise solutions environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding client finance requirements, translating them into effective IFS ERP solutions, supporting implementation projects, conducting user training, and ensuring successful system adoption across finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Finance ERP Implementation & Configuration

• Work closely with clients to assess, analyze, and define finance-related business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into practical and effective IFS ERP Finance solutions.
• Configure and deploy IFS ERP software to align with client-specific finance processes.
• Ensure system functionality supports business efficiency, accuracy, and operational improvement.

Business Process Improvement

• Guide clients in streamlining and improving financial operations using IFS ERP capabilities.
• Recommend industry best practices to enhance finance workflows, reporting, and process efficiency.
• Identify gaps in existing finance processes and propose suitable ERP-based solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives based on client requirements and system capabilities.

Client Workshops & Training

• Conduct workshops with end-users, finance teams, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver training sessions to support smooth system adoption and effective ERP utilization.
• Prepare relevant documentation, training materials, and user guidance where required.
• Support clients in understanding system functionality and finance process alignment.

Project Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams, including finance stakeholders, technical consultants, IT teams, and project managers.
• Support successful ERP implementation within agreed project timelines and budgets.
• Provide inputs during project planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation phases.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure finance requirements are properly configured and delivered.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, with strong exposure to the IFS Finance domain.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing multiple ERP systems within finance-related modules.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting workflows, ERP configuration, and business process improvement.
• Experience with other ERP platforms will be an added advantage.
• Comfortable working with business stakeholders, technical implementation consultants, finance leaders, and project teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and support.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and convert them into practical ERP solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
