Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer Business Automation to lead the design and development of workflow solutions that enhance operational efficiency in banking. This role involves working with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA), collaborating with Business Process Reengineering (BPR) teams, and delivering secure, scalable automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and customization of business process workflows and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with Operations and BPR teams to identify automation opportunities and implement robust technical solutions.
• Architect and build custom workflow components, backend integration layers, and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Develop integrations with external applications and services via RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability standards.
• Drive testing, deployment, and continuous optimization of workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and innovation.
• Stay updated on tools, frameworks, and methodologies in business automation.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters or certifications in workflow development is a plus).
• Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience with exposure to business process automation.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-grade automation projects.
• Experience in banking systems or financial services domain preferred.
• Backend: Strong expertise in Java and/or .NET.
• Frontend: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Data & Integration: Skilled in SQL, stored procedures, XML.
• Integration: Solid experience with REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Familiarity with OCR technologies, content management systems, and IBM ODM.
• Strong grounding in Agile development and DevOps practices.
