WE ARE HIRING: Software Engineer, Application Support

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join the Application Support team. This role focuses on ensuring the availability and accessibility of applications in accordance with agreed service levels and business priorities. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues to minimize the impact on business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2nd and 3rd line support for applications in coordination with the Development Team and Helpdesk.

  • Manage incidents, proactive alerts, change requests, and service requests ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and processes.

  • Ensure customer incidents and requests are resolved within agreed service levels and provide workarounds to minimize business impact.

  • Monitor and report on application health, performance, and availability.

  • Participate in bug fixes and application improvement projects to enhance system stability and performance.

  • Produce clear documentation on application functionality and support procedures.

  • Mentor team members and provide knowledge transfer on support procedures.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure Services, MS SQL Server Admin, ITIL Foundation, and Agile Framework are a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET Core and production support.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and container-based solutions (Docker, Azure Kubernetes).

  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes with a solid understanding of ITIL best practices.

  • Ability to debug application code and experience with application development, integration, and testing.

  • Strong communication and mentorship abilities in agile/Scrum environments.
