Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for our customers, providing high-quality IT support and ensuring minimal disruption to their daily operations. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting abilities, customer service excellence, and the ability to work across varied environments under routine direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote support and endpoint control via N-Able, ensuring agent status is validated.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, distinguishing between incidents and service requests.
  • Use ITSM tools (ConnectWise) to create, diagnose, and resolve incidents in line with procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance for Managed Service customers, escalating issues when needed.
  • Support Microsoft Teams Calling Services and Teams interface.
  • Visit customer sites when required for support and deployment tasks.
  • Build, test, and deploy SOE devices according to customer specifications.
  • Manage goods receipt for customer hardware orders and update inventory/work orders.
  • Support professional services projects occasionally, as directed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in an IT-related field (Microsoft Certifications highly desirable).
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience troubleshooting peripherals (printers, TVs, video cameras).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11).
  • Basic networking/Wi-Fi troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in desktop and end-user support.
