Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The ideal candidate must be a fully Chartered Qualified professional with strong exposure to manufacturing finance, cost control, compliance, and business partnering to support commercial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Control

• Oversee preparation and timely finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, and inventory accounting.

• Review reconciliations and maintain audit-ready financial records.

• Provide detailed management reports and financial insights to senior leadership.

FMCG Cost & Operational Finance

• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and distribution expenses.

• Analyze product margins, pricing structures, and profitability.

• Strengthen cost control measures across production and supply chain functions.

• Ensure financial discipline across operational departments.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

• Oversee VAT, corporate tax, and statutory reporting processes.

• Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Budgeting & Strategic Support

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

• Monitor financial KPIs and performance indicators.

• Provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

• Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the finance team to achieve performance targets.

• Set KPIs and monitor departmental performance.

• Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully Chartered Qualified (CA / ACCA or equivalent) – Mandatory.

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance experience.

• Prior experience in the FMCG industry is required.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, and cost management.

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Office proficiency.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
