Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA (Automation) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through a combination of automation and manual testing. This role involves working across the full testing lifecycle, contributing to test strategy, automation frameworks, and continuous quality improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation tools, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle including planning, execution, and reporting. Develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriverIO. Identify and automate high-impact test cases to improve coverage and efficiency. Design and execute manual test cases including regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Ensure automation suites are stable and integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Participate in defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes. Monitor and report on quality metrics, test progress, and risks. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong exposure to automation testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and client-facing projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriverIO (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing (UI & API).
• Experience with CI/CD integration and continuous testing practices.
• Good understanding of SDLC, test planning, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced and global environments.
