Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bra Technician with strong technical sewing expertise in intimate apparel manufacturing.

The role focuses on providing advanced bra construction support, training sewing operators, improving workmanship standards, and optimizing production efficiency within lingerie manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in bras, panties, and lingerie construction and the ability to support production teams with technical sewing expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced bra sewing techniques across underwired, moulded, bonded, and fashion bras.

• Provide technical guidance on correct sewing methods and handling of delicate fabrics, elastics, and trims.

• Train sewing operators on bra, panty, and lingerie construction techniques.

• Develop structured training modules for new operators and skill enhancement programs.

• Assess operator capability and identify training needs or skill gaps.

• Support efficient line feeding and production processes during new style introductions.

• Work closely with Industrial Engineering (IE) and Production teams to improve line balancing and efficiency.

• Reduce sewing-related defects and improve overall workmanship quality.

• Participate in pre-production meetings and pilot runs for new styles.

• Ensure proper stitch quality, seam strength, and construction consistency across production lines.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in garment manufacturing, apparel technology, or a related field will be an advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on sewing experience in intimate apparel manufacturing.

• Proven expertise in bra construction techniques (mandatory).

• Strong experience in bras, panties, and lingerie production processes.

• Experience working with moulded and bonded bras is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in training and mentoring sewing operators.

• Strong understanding of sewing machines, attachments, and garment production processes.

• High attention to detail and workmanship quality.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with production and technical teams.
