Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager / Manager – Business Development (Organic) to drive growth and operational efficiency within organic product lines. This role involves coordinating across departments, optimizing processes, and supporting revenue generation while ensuring alignment with organic standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate business activities across procurement, production, sales, and logistics
• Drive operational efficiency and process improvements across departments
  
• Manage inventory and ensure optimal stock levels
• Identify gaps and implement new initiatives to improve performance
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coordination and communication
• Analyze departmental performance and recommend improvements
  
• Manage teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure productivity
• Implement policies and procedures across departments
  
• Work closely with traders and stakeholders to optimize revenue generation
• Support development initiatives and business growth strategies
  

Candidate Profile

• Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience for Assistant Manager level
  Minimum 5–7 years of experience for Manager level
• Experience in organic operations, production, or related sectors

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of organic standards (EU, USDA, or local certifications) is an advantage
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple departments and drive efficiency
  
• Results-oriented mindset with strong leadership capabilities
